Bashar Jackson, also well-known by the screen name Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th, 2020) was an American musician and songwriter. Victor Victor Worldwide signed him. Pop Smoke also made music with Republic Records. Working together with UK drill producer 808Melo Axl Beats and Yoz Beatz Pop Smoke rose to fame for being the leader of in the Brooklyn Drill sound. Welcome to the Party was the first single from his mixtape debut Meet the Woo, which was released on July 1, 2019 in April of 2019. The track Welcome to the Party was made into two different remixes starring American singer Nicki Minaj as well as British rapper Skepta in August of 2019.
