
Elizabeth Chase Olsen (born February 16 1989) is an American actress from the United States. Born in Sherman Oaks, California, Olsen began acting at age four. She made her debut film role in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011. For her performance, she was highly acclaimed and was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award among other accolades, then she was cast in the film horror Silent House. Olsen was selected for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2011 and completed her studies two years later at New York University. Olsen was famous for her role as the role of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media. She was a part of the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War (2016). The performance she made in WandaVision garnered her nominations for an Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.Outside of her involvement with Marvel, Olsen starred in the film Godzilla (2014), the mystery film Wind River (2017) Godzilla (2014) and the thriller Wind River (2017), and the romantic comedy Ingrid Goes West (2017). She also starred as an executive producer in the drama Sorry for Your Loss (2018-2019), getting a Critics' choice Television Award nomination for her performance as a widower.
