CareyLowell started her acting career with Dangerously Close, followed by one small role in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. She then went on to play roles, including co-starring in the role of Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) and, starting in 1996 she was the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons on the tv drama Law & Order, a character she reprised in 2005 to play a guest character on its spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and reprised the role on the original show in 2022, when it was relaunched for a 21st-season. [6] Prior to being cast in the role, she was dissatisfied in her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking programme. [4] In the late 2000s, she had a break from acting. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice , while also reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. Lowell returned to television in 2018 and appeared on Blue Bloods as a guest. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember, a fashion photographer with whom she was first married, was her third husband. [9][10] The couple was together as actor Griffin Dunne from 1989 to 1995 and has one daughter, Hannah, from the marriage. [citation needed] Lowell got married Richard Gere [11] in November 2002 following the birth their child Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. 2] After 11 years of marriage, they divorced in September 2013. They spent three years in New York Supreme Court divorce process. The case was finally settled in October 2016. [13]
